Since 1973, Auto-Craft Machine Enterprises has been manufacturing racing components that meet the high standards of the serious racer. All
parts are designed and engineered to perform under extreme conditions.
Auto-Craft products have dominated all types of VW powered racing, set more records and won more races than any other similar product on
the market. Auto-Craft has set the standard that others try to emulate.
When you purchase engines and racing components from Autocraft Engines, you are assured the integrity and experience of more than
twenty-five years of tradition. Owned by Mike Seymour, the company is headquartered in Marlboro, Massachusetts.
The Seymour family has long been involved in racing. Mike began his racing career in a quarter midget at age six. He and his brother Bobby
campaigned USAC Sprint and Silver Crown cars owned by their father, the late Boston Louie Seymour, in the 1970s and 1980s. The team
captured more than thirty USAC feature wins with former team drivers Ken Schrader, Billy Cassella, Rich Vogler,
George Snider, Johnny
Parsons, Doug Wolfgang and Bentley Warren.
Mike and Bobby began competing in the Northeast Midget Association (NEMA) Series in 1985. They combined again for more than forty feature
wins and three driving championships in midgets powered by Autocraft Engines. After retiring from the driving duties in 2002, they
continued winning with drivers like Mark Buonomo, Randy Cabral and the sensational Bobby Santos III.
Mike understands racing from various points of view….driver, car owner and engine builder. His knowledge of the sport coupled with his
commitment to delivering quality engines and providing personalized service positions Autocraft Engines for success.
